Frans Willigers is a furniture designer from Amsterdam. He grew up as the son of a furniture maker. After completing his studies in architecture, he went on to study at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.

Frans worked at architectural firms as an independent designer on a variety of projects, ranging from private residences to office buildings. After working in architecture, he returned to smaller-scale work, focusing on furniture design.

In addition to his design practice, he has taught at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.

His designs have been showcased in many venues, including the Salone del Mobile in Milan. His work has been published and discussed in media outlets such as Dezeen, Wired, the Financial Times, and De Standaard. His creations are part of the Thierry Barbier-Mueller Art Collection in Geneva.
